I grew up a Cleveland Indians fan, then a Chicago Cubs fan, and, sadly, now don't follow any baseball teams. Nevertheless, it has been pretty exciting around here since the Yankees won the World Series. James and I really wanted to go to one of the games during the World Series, but the tickets cost more than our yearly salaries (okay, not really, but they were expensive!) We didn't get to go to a game, but there was a parade held downtown the day after they won. I was babysitting at the time and didn't get to see it, but James caught a glimpse as it went right past his office. As you can see in this picture, MANY Yankees fans went to see the parade and join in the celebration!
