Good memories, new beginnings . . .

It's about time I updated this blog! The last few months have been crazy, to say the least. Our stay in New York officially ended in December. We packed up our NYC apartment and traveled back to Raleigh to pack up our house. Shortly after Christmas, the movers arrived and our next and final destination was Houston, Texas. And here we are! There are really too many things to name that I miss about our former homes. What I miss about NY is the sense of freedom, diversity, Sunday brunches, bagel shops, Central Park, Columbus Circle, 5th Avenue, hotdogs, and unmistakably unique culture. What I miss most about NC is the scenery, hospitality, beaches, serenity, sweet tea, beach music and most importantly our friends and family. But as my sweet husband so often reminds me, moving is not about giving up, but just about adding onto. So, here we are, holding onto our memories and friends, and looking forward to new adventures!
