One rather disturbing part of Times Square is the "Naked Cowboy." He is exactly what his name describes - a "cowboy" who stands in the middle of Times Square wearing nothing but his underwear and a cowboy hat. Tourists come along and actually pay to get a picture with him! He's been doing this for over 10 years. I don't know what's worse - the fact that he makes money simply by standing outside in his underwear, or that people pay him for it. I actually saw a girl jumping up and down and practically hyperventilating in excitement to see him. I guess it's all part of the NYC experience. Oh, and by the way, he apparently tried to set up this gig in other cities around the country and got arrested for it. Which he should!
